Breakfast has helped aid weight loss and improving focus, and now studies have shown that it has decreased people’s chances of dying from a heart attack or coronary heart disease. A study also showed that skipping breakfast over many years, it can lead to high blood pressure and even type-2 diabetes.
After a 16 year study on some 27,000 men, the research led them to a simple conclusion: Don’t skip breakfast.
If you are in the habit of not eating breakfast every morning and want to make the switch to living a healthier lifestyle, be careful!
Professor of Nutrition at the University of Vermont and a spokesperson for the American Heart Association Rachel Johnson advises to let your hunger drive you in the morning when it comes to picking the right time to eat.
